Leaving the South behind, Vidovi visits The Toy Pit, a massive store renowned for its incredible collection of vintage and modern collectibles. The shelves here are packed with nostalgia, but Vidovi has his eyes on something fast and new: the “Turbo Racer” Blind Box. However, in this city, nothing stays stationary for long.

Story Recap: The Slot Car Chase

• The Target: Vidovi spots the Turbo Racer box. But it’s not on a shelf—it’s acting as “cargo” strapped to a high-speed Slot Car! The car is zooming around a large, intricate track set up in the middle of the store.
• The Challenge: Vidovi tries to grab it as it passes, but he is too slow! Zoom! The car flies by. Zoom! It passes him again. He’s getting dizzy just watching it go in circles.
• The “Indy 500” Solution: Vidovi remembers where he is. He grabs a “Pit Crew” cap and a black-and-white Checkered Flag from a nearby display.
• The Pit Stop: He steps up to the track and waves the flag vigorously, signaling the end of the lap. Respecting the rules of racing, the slot car slows down and pulls over for a “Pit Stop.” Vidovi quickly retrieves the blind box, unstraps it, and celebrates the victory with the amused store owner. With the prize in hand, Vidovi is ready to speed off toward the East Coast.
